In The Hole Golf

Saturday July 24th, 2010 - Black Bear Ridge Golf Course

Team IGAO wins 25 1/2 to 19 1/2

Pictures from 3 day Road Trip

Hosting for second year in a row, Black Bear Ridge GC was in top notch condition once again for the 7th Edition of the Battle at Belleville. This year was not what Team NCGT was expecting as Team IGAO did a little recruiting during the spring, hooking up with a brother league in Southern Ontario, to take on our 2010 NCGT Team. At the the end of the day, Team IGAO was hoisting the Plaque with a 25 1/2 points to 19 1/2 points victory. Congrats to all Team IGAO players as well as to all TEAM NCGT players for a great effort and a fantistic weekend!

NEXT EVENT

IM000156.jpg

The National Capital Golf Tour and the International Golf Association of Ontario have again agreed to do battle and the next time we meet, will be on the Battlefield at

Black Bear Ridge in Belleville Ontario, on Saturday July 24th, 2010.

blackbearlogo.jpg

Saturday's 36 hole event, will be a ryder cup style tournament with 2 man teams from each tour in each foursome. Teams will play 9 holes of Best Ball and 9 holes of Alternate shot in the morning round. In the afternoon, teams will play 9 holes of Scramble followed by 9 holes of Singles.

Each match is worth one point and a halved match is worth a half a point.

First team to earn 26 points will win bragging rights for the year and leep the Annual Hardware in their hands for the next year. If both teams are tied after 36 holes, TEAM NCGT will retain the Plaque as defending Champions (in 2009).
