The National Capital Golf Tour  which was founded in 2002, is a public golf tour in the Greater Ottawa Area. With the average golfer (male and female - young and old) in mind, we have created a place where all skill levels can compete against each other and challenge themselves in a season long race to the top. As we get set for our 11th Season, we will continue to be a fun and competitive golf tour, adding an element of spice to the weekend rounds of the everyday player. Our main goals are, and always have been to provide an incentive for competitors to play their best, have a great time while meeting new friends, as well as give those of you who enjoy a little wager on their game a chance to compete in tournament settings.

    Silly Season Event No. 2 - Sunday, January 22, 2012
    Congrats to "Pops" for his one shot victory over "moi" :) and also for his cleaner at last night's event. Mark was joined by Gerry Tapp and Mike Krewski as the big winners on the night. Mark Ryder also took home his first "un-official" but "official" winnings at his first indoor event. Congrats to all the night's winners. See you in February - check all the scores and results.     Just a quick belated note to Congradulate Sean Thompson and his wife on the birth of their first baby. Both mom and baby doing fine although sleep is an issue now :) Well done Sean!!!

     
    Golf-O-Max Results posted - Sunday, December 18, 2011
    Our first Golf-O-Max event is now in the books. A small but intimate group of 15 teed it up last night at The Big Horn Mountain course in Palm Desert California. An Arthur Hills designed course was not as tough as it should have been and some scores were nice and low. Congrats to Marco San Pedro who was on fire finishing with a low Gross score of 67 and taking home 2 cleaners, a CTP and the LG. Well done Marco! See all the scores and results here.

    2-Man Scramble Event - Tuesday, October 25, 2011

    Congrats go out to the team of Gary Birtch and Andrew Dean who were like the fall season, and blew by everyone at the Meadows yesterday en route to a “Tour record” low score at a 2-man scramble event with a 53 (-19). Second place was a close 54 by Mike O’Connor and Sean Thompson (our 2009, 2-man Champs) and in third place...... well it was like a parking lot of golf carts and players with four teams tied at 56. Well done all of you. BTW ……… WEATHER was fantastic for October 23rd wasn’t it :) See all the scores results and pictures

     
    Final event of 2011 had some surprises - Monday, October 03, 2011
    Looks like mother nature gave us a big break yesterday for our Final event of 2011. With rain in the forecast and a cold and grey day in store for us, it was actually a good day to be be golfing. Congrats to Paul Britton for his Tour Low score of 82 to come from behind and take over top spot and Top honours as our 2011 Tour Champion. Paul made up a 13 point gap with a very solid 49 point day and season total of 296 points. Mike Muise was runner up with 292 points. And Miss Lisa was close behind in third place overall with 286 points. Congrats to all the days winners. Full Results and scores

     
    2011 Match Play FINALS - Thursday, September 22, 2011

    Ottawa Sun Scamble B Division - Thursday, August 18, 2011
    It's all done and over with, David Francey and Phil Martin have added to their good year by winning the Ottawa Sun Scramble in the B division after shooting an amazing 11 under par at Le Sorcier  Wednesday and then capping it off on Saturday with another strong round of 4 under at Outaouais Golf Club.
